We spent the day packing and taking a last few "adventures" in Chongqing. In my heart, I felt peace about leaving. Chongqing will always have a special place in our hearts. It is an amazing city, but we are ready to move on to the next part of our journey. The next part of making Jack a Harmon.
Jack's first plane ride- from Chongqing to Guangzhou. I love the Chinese man behind them. This has been a big part of our experience here. People stare at us - a lot. And they take pictures of the girls - a lot.
The flight went fine. Jack screamed for a while and then fell asleep. We arrived in Guangzhou, met our guide, and headed to The Garden hotel. We were sad when we realized they had booked our room wrong. Instead of a "family apartment" (2 bedrooms & a living room), they booked a one room suite. Don't get me wrong, it is a nice suite. But it is crowded and not what we expected. Molly has to sleep on the couch. We were all SO tired by the time we got in our room, though, that we went right to sleep.
We know God is in control and He knew this small room would be part of our journey.
Trusting that it is for our good.
